Approach and anchoring

Reached from Charleston Harbour through the lower Ashley River, with onward access to Wappoo Creek and the Stono River. Floating docks throughout, so the marina works at all states of tide. The basin lies at 56 Ashley Point Drive.

Practical

Fuel berth supplies diesel and petrol. Berths have shore power and fresh water. Ashore there are heads, showers and a ship store. Harbour master reached on 843 766-2100.

Ashore

Downtown Charleston sits about 4 miles north-east by water across the harbour. The James Island Connector gives road access to the city centre in roughly 10 minutes.
