Anchorage off the Village de la Poterie, east of the Trois-Îlets bourg on the south side of the Baie de Fort-de-France. Sand and mud, sheltered from east through south to west, open to the north.

Approach and anchoring
Open to the Baie de Fort-de-France from north-west to north-east. Under the order of 17 May 2018, anchoring within 300 m of the Trois-Îlets shore is only allowed inside the five buoyed mooring zones.
Practical
No buoys, pontoon or water. Supplies are in the Trois-Îlets bourg, about a mile west.
Ashore
A pottery has worked here since 1783 and became the brickworks whose terracotta coloured the Trois-Îlets bourg; it still makes bricks and tiles. The old buildings now house potters and craft workshops.
