Reached via the western branch of the Canal de la Marne au Rhin, between Vitry-le-Francois and Bar-le-Duc. Low air draught under the canal bridges, typical 3.40 m. No lockkeeper on site; follow VNF telecommand for nearby locks.
Practical
Free mooring alongside a wooden pontoon, a handful of berths. The VNF workboat often takes up most of the quay, so visitors may be asked to lie alongside it. No fuel. Water is not reliably available, though the VNF office can supply electricity free of charge. A children's playground is close by. The nearest groceries are a walk of about 2 km, with an SNCF station in the town.
