Approach and anchoring

Tie up on the left bank of the Seine between the railway bridge and the road bridge linking to the Ile de Villennes. There is room for one boat, or two small ones, and the mooring cleats are worn though they held an 11 m yacht without trouble. No lock between here and Bougival. Watch for the wash from barges and Bateaux Mouches heading to and from Paris.

Practical

Short floating pontoon used as a river halt. No water or electricity on the pontoon itself. The berth is quiet and private, with some noise from the passing trains that eases in the evening. Nouvelle Marina Port Saint-Louis lies 0.4 NM to the NE for longer stays. Shops and SNCF station in the village centre within 500 m.
