Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east through the marked channel of the Brusc lagoon, minimum charted depth 2.5 metres with a narrow fairway. Rock bottom with poor holding and only a few sand patches at the foot of the point; the anchor can jam among the rocks and be hard to break out, and divers working the area sometimes help free it. Sheltered only from the north-east sector, exposed to all other directions.
Practical
No services on site. Saint Pierre des Embiez marina 0.4 NM north-east handles visitors through the harbour office on VHF 9. Le Brusc 1 NM east has water and fuel at the main pontoon.
Ashore
A pebble beach lies at the foot of the point, with a path climbing the cliff to an old tower above the bay. The Brusc lagoon is a Natura 2000 site with seagrass meadows and a designated no-anchoring zone to protect Posidonia. The salt-marsh loop trail on Les Embiez is signed from the ferry landing and covers 3.5 km.
