Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the south between Cap Sicié and Cap Cépet. Seabed is mixed sand, rock and posidonia, so drop on clear sand patches in 3 to 7 m to avoid fouling the anchor and damaging the seagrass; holding on the sand is good, and the bottom shelves steeply close in. Open to winds from S and SE. Refuge at Saint-Elme 2 NM to the NE.
Practical
Day anchorage only. No services ashore at the beach. Shelter from NW through W winds from the landmass behind. A sewage works nearby can carry strong smells over the anchorage on some wind directions.
Ashore
The beach is a naturist beach at the foot of the wooded Cap Sicié cliffs, which put the anchorage in shade early in the evening. A captured freshwater spring runs out of the cliff onto the beach.
