Approach and anchoring
Approach from S or SE on clear water. Mixed sand and rock bottom, and holding can be poor on the silty sand, so pick a sand patch and check the bite before leaving the helm. Anchoring is restricted to the zone about 300 m behind the yellow buoys, and a boat channel up the middle of the cove must be kept clear; the local police move boats that anchor in the buoy or channel zone. Sheltered from NW, N, NE and W, open to the S. Saint-Elme 1.2 NM to the E gives the nearest all-weather refuge.
Practical
Day anchorage. The beach restaurant le cabanon opens in season. No fuel, no water on site. An Intermarche is about 30 minutes on foot, other shops in Le Brusc about 2 km by road.
