Anchorage near Cannigione in Sardinia, over sand and posidonia. Sheltered from the east and south, exposed from west to north.

Approach and anchoring
Anchor in 4 to 4.5 m. Sand held well in 2023 and May 2026. In August 2024 an anchor failed to hold after three tries on posidonia in a 15 to 20 kn easterly. In September 2025 the water was murky and the bottom hard to see. Speedboat and dinghy wash can roll the anchorage, even off season in May 2026.
Practical
Lorenzo's mooring buoys cost 60 euros for a 12 m boat in 2024, including 200 litres of water from his barge. Cannigione harbour is 10 minutes by dinghy. Tenders tie to rings on the stone pier, clear of a submerged buoy near the ladder. Laundry at Via Nazionale 115: washers 6 to 10 euros and dryers 5 euros for 15 minutes in 2026. Supermarkets, bakery and pharmacy in town. Mosquitoes in September 2025.
