Approach and anchoring

Anchor south of the islet in 4 to 5 m on sand with some weed. Depths are limited between the islet and the coast, and the water shoals towards the shore. The sand held in westerly winds of 35 to 45 kn in May 2024. One boat dragged in a 30 kn gust in July 2025. Wash from ferries and from boats running to and from the marinas rolls through in the morning and evening.

Practical

The dinghy lands next to the jetty, or on the beach outside the private beach area. Rubbish bins stand ashore. The Dettori supermarket, 10 to 15 minutes away, had a laundry in 2022. The road to it was dangerous at the time.

Ashore

A beach bar and restaurant serving pizza stands behind the beach, with dinghies pulled up on the sand south of it. The campsite to the north has a spa with sauna and swimming pool, 29 euros in 2024. The anchorage looks over Cannigione. A village about 1 NM away has a restaurant and a supermarket.
