Small river halt on the Saône in the village of Mantoche, Haute-Saône, seven berths for inland cruisers.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Located on the navigable Saône upstream of Gray, with no lock between the two. The quay is a long pier with room for several boats, but depth alongside is only about 1 metre over a hard rock bottom, and boats drawing around 1.6 metres have grounded on rock while approaching, so sound on the way in and keep the stop for shallow draught.
Practical
Seven berths along the quay. Water and electricity were installed in late June 2026: mooring is free, with 24 hours of electricity for around 5 euros. The harbourmaster's office doubles as a restaurant and sells bread, and a well-stocked grocery is a 3-minute walk. The villages of Gray and Arc-lès-Gray, both with shops and fuel, lie 2 to 3 nautical miles upstream.
