River halt on the Yonne at Pont-sur-Yonne in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, on the Paris to Auxerre waterway.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Canalised Yonne, VNF managed, maximum draught 1.8 m, locks on the standard Seine basin schedule. The halt is easy to miss and there is a shoal off the south end that makes coming alongside awkward at 1.8 metres, so it may take a second run.
Practical
Room for only about two boats, one at the mooring and a second alongside the wall with its stern overhanging, the rest being too shallow. No facilities at all, not even a bin. A bakery in the village, and a bar that does not serve food. Ponton du Camping les Harlequins 3 NM SW and Halte fluviale de la Ronce 3.3 NM S are the closest alternatives.
