Approach and anchoring

Approach from the east or west, leaving the island to port or starboard. Anchor on the north or south side depending on wind, in 5 to 12 m, but sand patches are small and hard to find among the posidonia and rock, so check the set. The wind shadow is narrow and only shelters a couple of larger boats; protected from N and S depending on the side chosen, exposed to E and SE and usually a little rolly. Cap du Dramont and the Lion de Mer cardinal lie 300 m NE, keep clear.

Practical

No services on the island. A dinghy can be left in the small fishing harbour at Le Dramont to land guests, with a grocery and chemist within 10 minutes on foot and a snack bar at the port. Nearest fuel and water at Port d'Agay, 1.2 NM NE, or Port du Poussaï, 0.2 NM NE.

Ashore

Landing on the island is forbidden, the property is private. Red porphyry cliffs of the Esterel massif at Le Dramont opposite, with the coastal path of Cap du Dramont and the 38th US Infantry Division memorial commemorating the Provence landings of 15 August 1944.
