Guide
Approach and anchoring
An open anchorage close to the steep-sided fjord of Larsen Harbour. It is sheltered from north-east through east and from the south-west across to the south-east, but exposed elsewhere. No marks or lights, so a daylight approach by chart and eye is needed. Larsen Harbour itself lies about 0.3 nautical miles to the south-west and offers deeper shelter.
Practical
Anchorage only, no facilities. Holding is mixed over sand, mud and weed, so set the anchor with care and check it has bitten.
