Approach via the marked Saône fairway. Give way to commercial convoys, which remain active on the Lyon reach. Moor along the quay.
Practical
A free halt with no water or electricity and room for one boat. The pontoon is chained to two posts and works about in the wash of passing barges, so moor boats under 10 m to the pontoon and longer boats to the posts. Port d'Albigny lies 2.5 NM to the north for an upstream alternative. Quai de Bondy, 3.1 NM to the south, brings visitors close to Vieux Lyon.
