Approach via the Seine fairway through the meander west of Paris. Give way to commercial barge traffic, which remains heavy on this reach, and to passenger boats running from central Paris. Passing barges send some wash onto the pontoon.
Practical
Free pontoon halt with no water, electricity or toilets, so come self-sufficient. Restaurants stand right by the pontoon, and a shopping centre with a patisserie and a supermarket is about 20 minutes' walk away. Quai de Bougival, 1.7 NM to the south-west, is the nearest alternative stop, and Port Legrand Nautic 2024 lies 4.2 NM to the south-east.

A riverside promenade lined with willows runs along the bank past the pontoon, a busy route for walkers and runners.
