Approach and anchoring
The harbour is wide open to the north-east Atlantic swell. The basin is small and silts up quickly: a 2020 SHOM file notes dredging is needed twice a year. Do not attempt the approach in any sizeable swell.
Practical
A working fishing harbour, with 48 boats and 22 registered fishermen according to the same SHOM file. Multihulls accepted according to Navily. No fuel. The tourist information office is on the fishing harbour.
Ashore
The coastal footpath leaves the village heading west to Anse Couleuvre, in Le Prêcheur, through forest and past several waterfalls.
