Guide
Approach and anchoring
Shelter from E and SE only, so a fair weather stop. Sand and rock bottom. The cove lies in the strict protection zone of the Prêcheur regional marine nature reserve, which runs from Anse Céron to the Trois-Bras river. Anchoring is prohibited there and only dedicated mooring buoys are provided for.
Practical
Land by tender on the beach, no jetty. No water or shops.
Ashore
A forest path climbs to the waterfall on the Couleuvre river, which comes down from Montagne Pelée. The coastal footpath to Grand'Rivière starts at the cove.
