Approach and anchoring
Come in from the W, keeping clear of the rocky headlands north and south of the entrance. The cove is deep, around 15 metres, with room for only about two boats, so watch the swing. The bottom is sand in patches and rock elsewhere, and it can be hard to set, though a well dug-in anchor has held 24 knots from the SE. Shelter from E, SE and S only, so leave before any westerly sets in and prefer settled weather.
Practical
Anchorage only, no buoys or services. Port du Frioul is 0,7 NM to the NE for water, bins and the passenger ferry to Marseille.
Ashore
Ground within the Parc national des Calanques, swimming and snorkelling off the rocks. The GR 51 island loop passes above the cove and links the Fort Ratonneau batteries 2 km north.
