Approach and anchoring
Reached from the State Boat Channel through the dredged Amityville Cut, which carries about 10 feet, then up the creek off the Great South Bay Channel. The bay itself runs shallow, with mid-bay depths of 7 to 10 feet at low water and shoals between.
Practical
More than 200 berths with water and shore power. A clubhouse on site has a bar and restaurant. Fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding from the club, plus boat hire and charters.
