Guide
Approach and anchoring
Open to the west and north-west, the cove gives only basic shelter from wind and swell. Anse Dufour is 0.2 miles south and Grande Anse d'Arlet 1.5 miles south.
Practical
Black volcanic sand beach and a pontoon for the dinghy. No buoys, water or shops.
Ashore
A natural diving platform known as point Y and the Grotte des Chauves-Souris lie by the cove. The bats are protected, so the cave is watched from its entrance only. Navily users report turtles and a wide range of reef fish.
