Approach and anchoring
Canal des Vosges, bank mooring with only two bollards, room for one boat up to 15 m. No tide. Canal depth 1.80 m in the axis, less near the bank. The water shoals sharply against the bank and a boat drawing 1.6 m found too little depth to lie alongside, so the mooring suits shallow draught only.
Practical
No water, no electricity. Nearest services at the Port de Nancy 17 km north or at Messein lock 2 km away.
