Approach and anchoring
Reached from the river at marker 54, near downtown Fort Myers. Coming from the Gulf of Mexico, follow the Caloosahatchee channel inland; from the east the marina lies on the Okeechobee Waterway. The two downtown bridges have a fixed 55 ft clearance.
Practical
45 berths at fixed docks for vessels up to 80 ft, including 2 transient berths, with pump-out service. The fuel berth supplies both petrol and diesel. There is a ship store stocking oil, cleaning supplies, bait and ice, and a marine repair service. Pinchers crab shack restaurant is on site.
Ashore
The Edison and Ford Winter Estates adjoin the marina, a museum and 21-acre botanical garden on the winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, open to the public since 1947. Downtown Fort Myers lies a short walk to the north-east.
