Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Columbia River at river mile 106. The basin is set in a sheltered bight with limited current, easier than the main channel. Address 11505 NE Yacht Harbor Drive.
Practical
210 berths on concrete Bellingham dock construction, metered shore power, potable water, fish cleaning station, year-round free ice, toilets, lounge with fireplace and a restaurant on site.
Ashore
Government Island Wildlife Area is 4 km upstream and reachable only by boat. The Willamette River confluence and downtown Portland are 13 km upstream by water.
History
The marina was built in 2007 as part of the Salpare Bay residential development on the eastern end of Hayden Island.
