Approach and anchoring

Reached from the main river channel along South River Road. Approach by day, watch for floating debris after high flows on the Sacramento River.

Practical

Around 100 berths in landscaped grounds at 3365 South River Road. Reciprocal guest berths for members of affiliated clubs. Clubhouse of about 4,400 square feet with bar, dining room and kitchen. Laundry on site. Members get free ice.

History

The club traces its roots to the turn of the 20th century and has been active in Sacramento boating for close to 100 years. In the 1970s it moved from a barge to a permanent shore-side facility on its current grounds.
