Approach and anchoring

Enter via the Chetco River bar, jettied and considered one of the most reliable on the Oregon coast. Coast Guard station inside the harbour, opposite the transient dock. Hail port staff on VHF channel 12 for berthing and fuel.

Practical

Transient dock attached to the fuel berth. Diesel and petrol available Monday to Sunday 8am to 4pm, closed 12 to 1pm. Office phone 541-469-2218, fuel berth 541-291-7372. Ice house and basic provisions on site.

Ashore

Harbour shops and seafood restaurants line the basin. State beaches and the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor begin within 5 miles north along Highway 101.
