Approach and anchoring
Enter via the jettied Coquille River bar. The south jetty carries a light and sound signal. Federal channel maintained to 13 feet from the entrance to Bandon, marina basin dredged to 10 feet. Bar conditions should be checked with the Coast Guard before crossing in any swell.
Practical
86 berths up to 200 ft, 13 transient berths, 30A and 50A shore power, fresh water, fuel and pump-out on site. Harbour master at 390 1st St SW, phone 541-347-3206. Old Town shops, restaurants and chandlery within a few minutes on foot.
Ashore
Old Town Bandon and its restored early-1900s buildings sit directly above the marina. Coquille River Lighthouse, built 1896, stands on the north jetty about 1 mile away by road. Annual Cranberry Festival each September, Bandon producing roughly 95% of Oregon cranberries.
