Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, which runs through the Laguna Madre. The waters here are very shallow, so hold to the marked channel on the approach.
Practical
Around 50 berths for boats up to about 55 ft. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, public boat ramp alongside, and a ship store with live and frozen bait, tackle and ice. Port Mansfield is a low-key fishing settlement with limited services ashore.
