Entered from the Mississippi Sound. Approach and dockside depths around 10 ft, vessels up to 100 ft. Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor lies about 4 nm to the west.
Practical
About 164 berths, around 20 for transient boats, plus a recent expansion adding commercial and recreational slips. Three public boat launches, a fishing pier and 24-hour staffing. Fuel berth, pump-out, 30 and 50 amp shore power, fresh water, restrooms, showers and a fish-cleaning station. Transient rate around 1.00 USD per foot plus state tax.
History
Yachting on the Gulf Coast began here. The Southern Yacht Club, founded in 1849 and the first yacht club in the South, ran its first regatta off Pass Christian on 21 July 1849. The Pass Christian Yacht Club, rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the town in 2005, sits beside the harbour.
