Guide

Approach and anchoring

Long Lake sits at the centre of the Sebago Lake chain. The lake links to Brandy Pond through the channel at Naples, and the 2012 fixed arch bridge there now caps clearance, so taller craft stay on Long Lake. The Songo River runs south from Brandy Pond to Sebago Lake.

Practical

Over 40 slips for boats of varied sizes. Fuel available at the dock, restrooms and a stocked ship store on site. Long Lake holds bass, trout and salmon.

Story

Until 2011 a hand-operated swing bridge let boats pass at Naples. Its fixed replacement left the double-decker Songo River Queen confined to Long Lake.
