Approach and anchoring
Lies on the Blackwater River at the head of navigation for larger craft, in the centre of Milton. The river above this point is shallow and used mainly by canoes and kayaks.
Practical
Run by the City of Milton, with at least 90 percent of berths held for recreational boats on a first-come basis. On-site mechanics, a floating store, kayak and pedal-boat hire, dry storage and a boat ramp. The marina is monitored 24 hours a day. Harbour contact on 850 983-5466.
Ashore
Berths are within walking distance of downtown Milton shops and restaurants. The Blackwater River, one of the cleaner sand-bottom rivers in the United States, runs upstream into Blackwater River State Park, a paddling and swimming destination.
