Approach and anchoring
Reached from the open water of Lake Winnipesaukee via Melvin Bay, where the Melvin River meets the lake. No tides on this inland lake. Approach to the lakefront berths is straightforward off the bay.
Practical
Around 80 berths spread across four lakeside parcels. There is a petrol dock, a parts and accessories store, a service department and a boat rental programme. Trexler's Marina lies 2.4 NM to the south-west.
History
The marina has operated for over 70 years, growing from a single New England house and barn on Melvin Bay to 13 buildings on the waterfront.
