Approach and anchoring

On Northwood Lake, a 653-acre lake shared by Epsom, Northwood and Deerfield. A public boat launch and town beach give access; depths average about 4 metres, reaching 6 metres. The eastern arm of the lake holds a protected loon nesting ground.

Practical

A 20-acre lakeside campus with a private boat ramp, fuel docks, private berths and four boat storage buildings. Mechanical service and indoor storage on site. Office open weekdays 0900 to 1700 and Saturday 0900 to 1600, on 603-736-4750.

History

The business began in 1949 as MacCallum's Garage, run by Donald and Viola MacCallum. They built the present yard on Northwood Lake in the 1950s. It has stayed in the family across three generations.
