Approach and anchoring
Approach from Saginaw Bay through the Saginaw River channel and head upstream to downtown Bay City. The marina is on the west bank just downstream of Veterans Memorial Park, adjacent to Pier 7 Marina. No tidal range, but mind commercial river traffic and bridge clearances.
Practical
Seasonal operation, open from 1 May to 15 October. City-run facility with transient and seasonal berths, shore power and water. No fuel berth on site, use Pier 7 immediately upstream.
Ashore
Veterans Memorial Park and the Riverwalk start at the marina. The bars and restaurants of the Midland Street Entertainment District are a few steps away. Downtown Bay City lies just across the river by bridge.
