Practical
Kingfisher Bay Marina has 50 berths for transient and liveaboard boats, with water hookups, a pump-out, dry-stack storage and a service yard. Heads, showers and laundry are on site, and an 18-pitch RV park adjoins the marina.
History
The marina opened in 2011 on a former cotton field, built after dredging some 1.5 million cubic yards of sand from the site.
