Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Great South Bay up the Patchogue River channel. Charted approach depth is around 10ft with about 5ft alongside the fixed docks. The river is the main launch point for Fire Island, with ferries running across the bay to Watch Hill and Davis Park.
Practical
44 berths on fixed docks, three of them for visitors, taking vessels to 50ft. There are in-water berths and a valet rack service. A fuel berth supplies 87, 89 and 93 octane petrol plus off-road diesel. The shop carries bait, marine supplies and provisions. Boat and paddleboard hire on site.
