Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Isle of Wight Bay south of the Route 90 bridge, working into the West Ocean City basin. Sand bottom. Shelter runs from the NW through N and NE round to SW, leaving the anchorage open to the south and east.
Practical
Sunset Marina lies 0.2 nm to the NW, on the western side of Isle of Wight Bay, with transient berths, a boatyard, fuel, laundry and the Sunset Grille. O.C. Fisherman's Marina is 0.3 nm to the west. The Ocean City inlet and the town beaches are a short run away.
Ashore
The West Ocean City harbour is a working sport-fishing base, with charter docks and seafood outlets along Sunset Avenue. The Ocean City boardwalk and Atlantic beaches lie across the bay, a short run from the anchorage.
