Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from Lynn Canal, the deep north-south fjord reaching towards Juneau. Holding is on mud and algae, so set the anchor well and check it has bitten before paying out scope. The mooring is sheltered from north-west through east round to the south-east, but open to the remaining sector. Swanson Dock lies 13.2 miles to the north-east as the next refuge.
Practical
No facilities here. Carry full provisions, water and fuel before arriving. The Funter Bay seaplane base, 20.3 miles north-east, has state-maintained floats.
