Approach and anchoring
Enter the harbour through one of two breakwall gaps. The 650-acre basin enclosed by three breakwalls is the largest man-made freshwater harbour in the world, completed in 1883, with the Harbor Beach Lighthouse marking the north gap since 1885.
Practical
114 berths on floating pontoons, water and shore power, showers and toilets, fuel berth, pump-out, laundry, Wi-Fi, fish-cleaning station and six boat launches. Larger berths near the fuel berth on piers C and D, smaller berths on piers A and B.
Ashore
Shopping and dining within walking distance of the marina, plus a courtesy shuttle into town. Public library, grocery store and single-screen cinema in downtown Harbor Beach. Playground next to the marina and a bike path along the lake.
