Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Pacific through the Noyo River entrance, then upriver past the commercial fishing harbour. The bar can break in heavy swell.
Practical
Over 100 ocean-access berths plus seasonal river berths. Fuel sales of petrol and diesel, though fuelling at the docks is not permitted. Petrol and diesel engine repairs, a fish-cleaning station and an adjoining RV park with 30 amp power. Harbour office on 707-964-4113.
Ashore
Noyo Harbor below the marina has seafood restaurants and sport-fishing and whale-watching charters. Fort Bragg town centre and the Skunk Train depot lie a short drive away.
