Approach and anchoring
Reached entirely on East Grand Lake, with no tidal water. The marina lies on the western shore off Sunset Park Road. The international boundary line runs down the lake, so the eastern shore is Canadian territory.

Berths and a launch ramp for lake boats, with parking on site. Telephone 207 448-2294. The hamlet of Orient sits on US Route 1; provisions are limited locally, with fuller shopping toward Houlton about 40 km north.
Ashore
East Grand Lake is used for fishing for landlocked salmon, lake trout and smallmouth bass. Forest trails and seasonal camping areas lie around the shore near Orient.
