Approach and anchoring
Sheltered berth in the Breitenbush arm of the reservoir, off Highway 22 east of Detroit. The lake is impounded by Detroit Dam at 1,569 ft full pool, water level drops sharply by late summer for downstream flow.
Practical
Seasonal moorage from 1 May to Labor Day weekend, with a waitlist. Petrol at the fuel dock, convenience store, food cart, showers and heads, Wi-Fi. Boat and pontoon rentals, plus kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. Address 115 Breitenbush Road, Detroit OR 97342.
