Approach and anchoring
Lake Texoma straddles the Texas-Oklahoma border on the Red River. Cedar Mills is on the west end of the lake, off US Highway 377 near the Willis Bridge. Address 500 Harbour View Road, Gordonville, Texas. Phone 903-523-4222.
Practical
More than 600 boat berths, fuel berth, dry storage, chandlery, parts and service workshop. On site: cabins, cottages, RV park, restaurant with lakeside terrace, event venue and ship's store. The lake is the striped bass capital of the United States.
Ashore
Eisenhower State Park is about 18 km east by water on the Texas shore, with hiking trails along the Cross Timbers section of the lake. Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, on the upper end of the lake, hosts wintering snow geese and bald eagles.
