Approach and anchoring
Hudson River mile 136.9 LDB. Approach and dockside depths around 12 ft and 8 ft. Floating pontoons take boats up to 80 ft. Hand-operated gin pole on site for stepping masts, useful for canal-bound boats heading to the Erie or Champlain systems.
Practical
55 slips with 5 transient berths and 8 moorings at $30 per night. Diesel, water, shore power, heads, showers and pump-out. Weekend lunch service open to visiting crews. VHF on hailing channel.
Ashore
Castleton-on-Hudson village centre within walking distance. Albany 13 km north for full provisioning.
History
Founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1954, the club has operated on this stretch of the Hudson for over seventy years.
