Approach and anchoring
Watts Bar is a reservoir on the Tennessee River, managed by the TVA. Reach the marina from the main river channel by entering Caney Creek embayment on the north shore. Channel is well marked. Watch for submerged stumps outside the buoyed line and for fluctuating lake levels typical of TVA reservoirs.
Practical
Over 200 covered and open slips. Petrol and diesel at the fuel berth. Bathhouse, laundry, ship's store and the Caney Creek Grille restaurant on site. Pump-out free of charge at every dock. Marina is 3.3 miles from I-40 Exit 350, with provisioning in Harriman at 8 km.
