Members marina on the Upper Willamette River at Wilsonville, Oregon, with a public boat launch sharing the 3.6 acre park, exit 282 off Interstate 5.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reach by river from downstream Willamette only; Willamette Falls at Oregon City blocks through-navigation from the lower river except via the locks. The marina sits river-right just below the I-5 bridge. River only, current depends on upstream releases.
Practical
Over 100 in-water berths, most with shore power, water and lockable dock boxes. Fuel berth and pump-out on the docks, snack shop, toilets, large trailer overflow car park across the road. One-way public boat ramp through the moorage.
Ashore
Boones Ferry park lawn and picnic area on site. Bernert Landing boat ramp 8 km upstream by river, a popular paddle leg. Town of Wilsonville with all shops and supermarkets 2 km east by road.
History
The marina sits at the west landing of the cable ferry that crossed the Willamette here from 1847 to 1954, founded by Alphonso Boone, grandson of Daniel Boone. The boat ramp marks the approximate east landing.
