Approach and anchoring

River access from the Sacramento River, no tidal constraints. Contact on 916-776-1204. Open Monday and Thursday to Sunday, 9.00 to 17.00. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Practical

Berths, dry storage, fuel berth, launch ramp, chandlery, restaurant and bar on site. Around 100 years of activity on the levee.

Ashore

Locke Historic District, half a mile inland, was built in 1915 by Chinese immigrants from Heungshan and is the only town in the United States built by Chinese for Chinese. Listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1990, with museums and shops along Main Street.
