Approach and anchoring
Off the marked Okeechobee Waterway channel at LaBelle, with 1,900 feet of hurricane-protected river frontage on Riverbend Drive. The site covers more than 19 acres and gives access towards the Gulf of Mexico down the Caloosahatchee.
Practical
Wet berths with 30 amp shore power, fuel and a launch ramp. Self-service work yard with 30 amp and 110 volt outlets and non-potable water. Boaters lounge with heads, showers and laundry. Haul-out by ramp for vessels up to 40 feet and 22 feet of beam, first come first served. Office on 863 675 1772.
History
The marina is built around a 1911 Sears Roebuck kit house. LaBelle was platted in 1895 by Captain Francis Hendry and its historic district is on the National Register of Historic Places.
