Approach and anchoring
Lies just inside the ICW near the Tom Stuart Causeway bascule bridge. Mud bottom with good holding. Sheltered from N through SE winds but open to the SW across the waterway. Watch wakes from the channel and keep clear of the marked ICW.

Fresh water available. Madeira Beach Marina is 0.5 nm SW for fuel and provisions, and Snug Harbor Boatworks lies 0.9 nm S for haul-out and repairs.
Ashore
John's Pass Village, with its boardwalk of shops and seafood restaurants, sits about 1 nm S along the waterway. The Gulf beach at Madeira Beach is a short walk over the barrier island.
