Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the W on a bearing clear of the outlying rocks. The anchorage is protected from SE through SW but open to N and W winds. Look for a sand patch between the weed and rock to drop the anchor, ideally in 5 to 8 metres, and check that the hook is set in sand.
Practical
No shore facilities. Port Charles Ornano in Ajaccio lies 5.4 NM to the SE and is the nearest all-weather refuge if the wind turns onshore.
Ashore
The Sentier des Crêtes coastal path runs along the ridge above the cove and links to the Capo di Feno area further north. Capo di Feno beach, popular with Ajaccio surfers when a W swell runs, lies about 2 km overland.
