Full-service marina on the Salt River at New Baltimore, Michigan, on the north shore of Anchor Bay in Lake St. Clair.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from Anchor Bay through the marked Salt River entrance. Anchor Bay is shallow, with depths of roughly 1 to 11 feet, so keep to the dredged channel and watch for shoals well off the bank that separates the bay from the main lake.
Practical
Wet berths for vessels up to 51 feet, plus indoor and outdoor dry-stack rack storage. Fuel berth, pumpout, restrooms and showers, ship store and an on-site service centre handling hull, inboard, outboard and propeller work.
Ashore
New Baltimore town centre is a short walk from the waterfront, with shops and provisions along Washington Street. The Salt River marsh upstream is a paddling route through restored wetland habitat.
